Barnes Bees under 10s football team (for the season 2004/2005) was formed in April 2002. Based in Sunderland the team compete on a Saturday morning at Downhill Sunderland in the Russell Foster League(Premier League). The team train on a weekly basis and all of the players are from the Sunderland area.
During the closed season the team compete in local friendly matches and in tournaments throughout NE England.
Premier League 2004/2005

4 defeats, 8 draws, and 10 victories saw the Bees finish in 4th position in the Premier league.This was a great acheivement considering promotion was earned the previous season.

The Bees scored 30 goals and conceeded 20 gaining a total of 38 points and had the 3rd best defensive record in the league. The only other Sunderland team to finish ahead of the Bees were the Barnes Macs who ran away winners of the league.

 

 

Team sponser D.Foster conservatories have financed the samrt new strip for 2004/2005. Many thanks to Dave and his company.

TRAINING

Training has finsihed and the Bees have played their final games ever.

Good luck to all players at their new clubs including  SAFC, Darlington FC,Plains Farm,Chester Athletic and SAFC 24/7 I really hope you all do well.


Thompson Cup (Premier league)

The Bees have done themselves proud once again and look to be finishing 5th in the Thompson Cup (Premier League.) Since earning promoiton from the 1st division last season the Bees have finished 3rd,4th and 5th in the top flight of the Russell Foster premier league in sucessive competitions.
